The Real Housewives of New York City<\/i><\/a> is back and there\u2019s already plenty of big drama in the Big Apple.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe obviously have some expectations,\u201d cast member Jessel Taank<\/strong><\/a> exclusively shared with Us Weekly<\/i> ahead of the RHONY<\/i> season 15 premiere. \u201cWith one season under the belt, you understand what this world is about. Ultimately, for us, we just really wanted to continue being fun and being entertaining. I think that\u2019s what it should be and it should be lighthearted, and I hope that comes across for this new season.\u201d<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t all fun and games during the Bravo premiere on Tuesday, October 1. In the first few minutes, viewers got a sense of the tension brewing between Brynn Whitfield<\/strong> and Ubah Hassan<\/strong> during a cast photo shoot.<\/p>\n

According to Jessel, 44, the two \u201cstrong personalities\u201d won\u2019t see eye to eye this season.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe Real Housewives of New York City premiered in 2008, but not every Housewife has gone the distance. The season 1 cast of RHONY included Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Bethenny Frankel, Jill Zarin and Alex McCord. While Kelly Killoren Bensimon joined the cast during season 2, Sonja Morgan became a full-time cast member during [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWhen they\u2019re good, they\u2019re great,\u201d she said. \u201cWhen they\u2019re not, they\u2019re not. You guys will watch it play out as the season goes on. I think what happened in the last season finale \u2014 where Brynn sort of outs Ubah\u2019s love interest \u2014 I think that really put a lot of doubt and it did cast a lot of, I think, tension in their friendship from that moment on.\u201d<\/p>\n

One friendship that appears to be in a better place is Jessel\u2019s bond with Sai De Silva<\/strong>. While the duo spent much of season 14 butting heads, Tuesday\u2019s episode showed the pair in a good spot.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like I grew closer to Sai,\u201d Jessel teased. \u201cObviously, that was a shocking one because of how we left things last season, but we definitely, you sort of see our relationship kind of flourish and it\u2019s definitely in a better place.\u201d<\/p>\n

One storyline that Jessel wants to end for good is whether or not Erin Lichy<\/strong><\/a> called Jenna Lyons<\/strong><\/a> \u201cpoor\u201d behind her back.<\/p>\n

After Erin, 37, denied the allegations in the RHONY<\/i> season premiere, Jessel hopes the entire cast can focus more on moving forward and less on the past.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt literally is the bane of my existence,\u201d she joked to Us<\/i>. \u201cI think we squash it pretty quickly, but it is very funny because to insinuate that Jenna Lyons does not have money or is having issues, it is just really ironic to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Season 15 will also introduce art curator Racquel Chevremont<\/strong><\/a> and designer Rebecca Minkoff<\/strong> to the cast. While the ladies stayed out of the fighting in the premiere during Brynn\u2019s cast event, the trailer<\/a> shows that not even the newbies can avoid drama.<\/p>\n
