Moriah Plath<\/strong><\/a> dropped a bombshell on her family during the Welcome to Plathville<\/em><\/a> season 6 finale \u2014 and her brothers didn\u2019t handle it well.<\/p>\n

During the season finale, which aired on Tuesday, October 1, Moriah, 22, told Ethan Plath<\/strong><\/a> that she invited her ex-boyfriend to come watch their family concert.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was something that he had kept from me that I didn\u2019t know about. And then when I found out, I went no contact for eight months,\u201d Moriah recalled about why she split from her unnamed ex. \u201cHe reached out to me and said, \u2018If you\u2019re looking for answers, feel free to call me, text me. I am more than willing to explain things to you and your family.\u2019 And I took him up on his offer and met with him and talked, and it all makes sense now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ethan, 26, was unconvinced that the guy changed and refused to hear him out. \u201cYou want to be with somebody that lied to you from the start?\u201d he asked Moriah. She defended her ex, saying, \u201cEthan, if you talk to him, it will all make sense now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Throughout the season, Moriah told viewers how heartbroken she was<\/a> by her ex-boyfriend, who allegedly kept secrets from her and lied throughout their romance<\/a>. As a result, she moved back in with her dad, Barry Plath<\/strong><\/a>, and both she and her siblings cut off all ties with the ex.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m worried that he will call Moriah back away from this family<\/a>. I\u2019m worried that Moriah will not be treated like she deserves to be treated,\u201d Ethan told the cameras. \u201cI don\u2019t know what Moriah sees in this guy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moriah, meanwhile, insisted that she had \u201call the little pieces to the puzzle\u201d and was \u201cputting that puzzle together.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tWelcome to Plathville introduced viewers to Barry and Kim Plath and their nine children when the reality show premiered on TLC in November 2019. According to the series description, the couple\u2019s kids \u2014 Ethan, Hosanna, Micah, Moriah, Lydia, Isaac, Amber, Cassia and Mercy \u2014 \u201chave never had a soda, don\u2019t know who Spider-Man or Tom [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Although Moriah wanted her family to mend fences with her ex-boyfriend, she didn\u2019t tell anyone but Ethan that she invited him to their concert. In fact, she awkwardly excused herself from brother Micah Plath<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s birthday dinner, which only raised more questions about her actions.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was mainly shocked because I had understood that Moriah wanted to cut ties and get over him,\u201d Micah, 23, told the cameras after Ethan revealed that Moriah\u2019s ex was in town. \u201cI know it\u2019s her life, but I\u2019m not OK with that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Micah and Ethan weren\u2019t the only ones who had issues with their sister\u2019s choice \u2014 their brother Isaac Plath<\/strong><\/a> also flew off the handle. He tried to call Moriah, but she just hung up the phone.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe went from, like, super awkward dinner to Ethan dropping a bombshell of news to basically a riot with pitchforks of Plaths,\u201d Micah\u2019s girlfriend, Veronica Peters<\/strong><\/a>, revealed.<\/p>\n

After Isaac, 18, and Micah tried to find Moriah, Ethan located her in the guy\u2019s car and told her it was time to leave. Moriah was distraught but eventually talked to Micah about why she was OK with her ex being back in her life.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had a four-hour conversation with him. He explained everything from beginning to end and it all made sense,\u201d Moriah said.<\/p>\n
