\nShe told the crowd about her battle with imposter syndrome and said getting the award \u201cwasn\u2019t really about\u201d her \u2013 but was instead a chance to share \u201clove\u201d and \u201cjoy\u201d.<\/p>\n
\n\u2018Bridgerton\u2019 star Simone Ashley, 29, was named Game Changing Actor, <\/p>\n
\nand told in her speech she recently had an encounter with a man who tried to help her with parallel parking \u2013 slamming his approach as \u201cfrustrating\u201d and \u201cintrusive\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nChl\u00f6e Bailey, 26, won Glamour\u2019s Musician of The Year Award, and said as she picked up the gong: \u201cThis job has seen me realise unimaginable dreams.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nActress Minnie Driver, 54, presented Jameela Jamil, 38, with the Game Changing Voice Award \u2013 with the TV star saying after being handed the trophy: \u201cThe patriarchy seeks to distract, destroy and erase (women) by the time we get older because we become harder to control. Because we become too valuable. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cAnd we must not find out, otherwise we might start spending more of our energy on things that could even the playing field in this world.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe also joked: \u201cWe might start getting proper sleep. We might eat enough nutrients. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cWe might become too happy in ourselves and genuinely confident in who we are. Can you imagine what we could do?\u201d<\/p>\n
\nPast winners of the awards have included \u2018Sex and the City\u2019 star Kim Cattrall, 68, supermodel Naomi Campbell, 54, and 50-year-old Spice Girl-turned fashion designer Victoria Beckham.<\/p>\n
\nComic Katherine Ryan, 41, once again returned to host the ceremony in west London for the fourth year in a row.<\/p>\n
