Wendy Williams<\/strong><\/a> has broken her silence on Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs<\/strong><\/a>\u2019 arrest and the ongoing legal case.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat is really weird is that I have been told by so many people, \u2018Wendy, you called it,\u2019\u201d Williams, 60, said to the Daily Mail<\/em><\/a> on Tuesday, October 1. \u201cIncluding some people from my family who have said the same.\u201d<\/p>\n

Williams, who has suffered from a series of health issues in recent years, has been openly critical of Diddy, 54, throughout her career. The former television host added that she was horrified over the security footage<\/a> of Diddy allegedly beating his ex-girlfriend, Cassie<\/strong> (real name Cassandra Ventura), which was released earlier this year.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know how I feel about that? It is about time. To see this video on TV of [Cassie] getting pummeled\u2026 it was just horrific.\u201d she said to the outlet on Tuesday. \u201cBut now you have to think, how many more times? How many people? How many more women? It\u2019s just so horrible.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tWendy Williams and Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs haven\u2019t been on the best terms over the years. The drama between the pair began in the \u201890s when Williams spoke out against Diddy on her radio show Hot 97 on multiple occasions. In 1998, Williams was fired from the radio show and has maintained a \u201cbelief\u201d that Diddy [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Last month, Diddy was arrested in New York<\/a> after being indicted on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution. The rapper has refuted all the allegations against him and pleaded not guilty<\/a>. He is currently in jail at the Metropolitan Detention Center, awaiting trial. Since the arrest, Diddy has been denied bail twice<\/a> but filed a notice of appeal on Monday, September 30, to overturn the ruling.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> has reached out to Williams\u2019 team for comment.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, a Texas law firm revealed during a press conference that Diddy has been accused of sexual assault and sex trafficking by 120 victims<\/a>. The group includes 60 men and 60 women with 25 of them claiming they were minors at the time of the alleged incidents. While the identities of the victims have not been publicly revealed, lawyer Tony Buzbee<\/strong> shared that some of the names will be a \u201cshock\u201d as they are \u201cpeople we all know.\u201d<\/p>\n

Diddy\u2019s attorney Erica Wolff<\/strong> shared a statement with Us Weekly<\/em> in response to Buzbee\u2019s remarks.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus,\u201d Wolff said. \u201cThat said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.\u201d<\/p>\n

Williams\u2019 decision to speak out about Diddy\u2019s current legal situation is no surprise to anyone who has kept up with their feud over the years. Williams and Diddy\u2019s ups and downs began in the \u201890s when the TV personality spoke out against him on her radio show Hot 97. In 1998, Williams was fired from the broadcast and has claimed that Diddy played a role in her exit.<\/p>\n

Following her radio career, Williams found success on her eponymous talk show. Before the program wrapped up in 2022, Williams covered a variety of hot topics including Diddy\u2019s various name changes and his relationship ups and downs with Cassie.<\/p>\n
