The \u2018Toxic\u2019 singer, 42, has told her Instagram followers the potentially deadly incident happened six months ago, and was the result of her security not lighting it for her.<\/p>\n
She told her 42 million followers in a video clip, in which she spoke in a British accent: \u201cI was in my room, I turned the fire on, and all of the sudden, it blew up in my face.\u201d<\/p>\n
Britney added her fireplace had \u201cdone that before\u201d, and she usually gets her security to \u201ccome in and light it for\u201d her.<\/p>\n
She went on: \u201cBut this time, I just threw the whole thing in there, and it literally blew into my face\u2026 it took all my eyelashes off, my eyebrows and \u2013 see these baby bangs? These are from\u2026 it sizzling all my hair.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nBritney also told how she feared she had second or third-degree burns and thought she was going to have to \u201cgo to the emergency room\u201d as her \u201cface was, like, on fire\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nShe said about the pain she experienced in the aftermath of the fire blast: \u201cIt hurt to touch my phone. It hurt to put ice on my face. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt hurt to have anything touch it. This happened for, like, six or seven hours.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThe pain never went away. It was so, so, so bad.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nBritney said she turned to taking painkiller Tylenol to go to sleep, adding: \u201cYeah, it was really bad.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nBut she concluded: \u201cAll is good now.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nBritney opened up last year about a fire she accidentally started with candles in her home gym, and showed off the burnt remnants after the accident on her Instagram.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
