The list of stars backing the Democratic nominee and current <a href=\"https:\/\/socialitelife.com\/tag\/kamala-harris\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">VP Kamala Harris<\/a> reads like an A-list guest list at the Oscars. His apparent doubts about life-saving vaccines, his criticism of the SAG-AFTRA strike, and his vocal support for <a href=\"https:\/\/socialitelife.com\/tag\/rfk-jr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.<\/a> \u2013 a man facing credible sexual assault allegations, among other issues \u2013 have all raised eyebrows. Adding to this, his recent portrayal of DC superhero Shazam bombed at the box office, a failure Levi seemed to pin on fellow DC star <a href=\"https:\/\/socialitelife.com\/tag\/dwayne-johnson\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dwayne Johnson<\/a> and the studio&#8217;s marketing team.<\/p>\n<p>When RFK, Jr. \u2013 whom Levi had described as \u201cthe best we&#8217;ve had in a long time\u201d \u2013 dropped out of the presidential race, the <em><strong>Chuck<\/strong><\/em> star found himself at a crossroads. Back in 2020, he had tweeted, \u201cI am no fan or supporter of Trump, and I find his behavior to be vulgar, callous, narcissistic, and lacking empathy.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I am no fan or supporter of Trump, and I find his behavior to be vulgar, callous, narcissistic, and lacking empathy. With RFK, Jr. out of the picture, Levi joined an interesting group of Trump supporters including (let me check my notes) Roseanne Barr, Hulk Hogan, and fellow box-office disappointment Jon Voight in backing the convicted fraudster.<\/p>\n<p>However, Levi&#8217;s endorsement was far from enthusiastic. It came during a Saturday (Sep. 28, 2024) event he was hosting, featuring RFK, Jr and former U.S. rep <a href=\"https:\/\/socialitelife.com\/tag\/tulsi-gabbard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tulsi Gabbard<\/a>, and it felt more like a reluctant admission than a passionate declaration.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram\"\/>\n<p>The video from the event, part of \u201cTeam Trump&#8217;s Reclaim America Tour\u201d in Dearborn, Michigan, tells the story. Jokingly calling himself \u201cShazam,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2024\/09\/zachary-levi-endorses-trump-after-rfk-jr-exit-1236102955\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2024\/09\/zachary-levi-endorses-trump-after-rfk-jr-exit-1236102955\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Levi said<\/a>, \u201cFor a long time, I was like, \u2018Man, I really want to find a politician that represents all of the things that I want and I want to see in a presidential candidate.&#8217; And this year, I found Bobby Kennedy, and I thought, \u2018Man, this guy is it. He&#8217;s the real deal.&#8217; And in a perfect world, whatever that would look like, perhaps I would have voted for Bobby.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut we don&#8217;t live in a perfect world,\u201d Levi continued. \u201cIn fact, we live in a very broken one, we live in a country that has been hijacked by a lot of people who want to take this place way off the cliff.
