He admitted that growing up, he was called a \u201cstring bean.\u201d While he did hit the gym, he never really tracked his progress. But when Superman came knocking, it gave him the perfect \u201cexcuse\u201d to pack on some serious muscle.<\/p>\n<p>Standing tall at 6&#8217;4\u2033 but weighing only 165 lbs, Corenswet felt his \u201cphysical presence\u201d wasn&#8217;t quite up to superhero standards. He remembered how he&#8217;d gain about 5 lbs every couple of years and think it was a big deal.
