Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a> pro Val Chmerkovskiy<\/strong> had some thoughts about his brother Maks Chmerkovskiy\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> criticism of Anna Delvey<\/strong><\/a>, and it seems he\u2019s firmly on Team Maks.<\/p>\n \u201cI think you need a Maks in this world, and you need a Val in this world,\u201d Val, 38, told Extra\u2019s<\/em> Melvin Robert<\/strong><\/a> on Wednesday, September 25. \u201cSometimes I appreciate Maks just standing on business and always saying how it is.\u201d<\/p>\n Anna, 33, was the first celeb to get the boot from DWTS<\/em> season 33. She and her partner, Ezra Sosa<\/strong>, performed the Cha Cha<\/a> to Sabrina Carpenter\u2019s<\/strong> \u201cEspresso,\u201d while both of them sparkled across the stage in blue and pink rhinestones. However, the judges weren\u2019t all that impressed with her performance and the \u201cfake heiress\u201d walked away with a score of 18 out of 30. The low score resulted in Anna being eliminated.<\/p>\n When host Julianne Hough<\/strong> asked the former felon what she would take away from her Dancing With the Stars<\/em> experience, Anna shocked fans with her answer<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cNothing,\u201d she said with a shrug of her shoulders.<\/p>\n Anna\u2019s flippant reply has earned criticism from viewers and dancers alike, including Maks, 44.<\/p>\n Maks hasn\u2019t held back in his feelings about the con-artist\u2019s casting on the show from the start. On Monday, September 23, Maks sat down for an appearance on \u201cThe TMZ Podcast<\/a>\u201d and he referred to Anna as a \u201cprofessional liar\u201d and stated that he was \u201cabsolutely not\u201d a fan.<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019re gonna bring that person [on stage] and say, \u2018Here\u2019s a platform that a lot of people waited their entire actual career to be a part of,\u2019 to also get a moment of a personal story [where they] can say, \u2018This is who I actually am,\u2019\u201d Maks explained. \u201cWill I believe anything this lady says? Absolutely not.\u201d<\/p>\n Maks also had some harsh criticism for Anna\u2019s moves on the dance floor.<\/p>\n \u201cShe wasn\u2019t great,\u201d Maks admitted, referring to Anna\u2019s Cha Cha. \u201cYou can blame the nerves and say, \u2018Hey, everybody\u2019s human and this person is not used to that stage.\u2019 Bulls\u2013t. Hold on a second \u2014 didn\u2019t she con people into believing she was, like, fully fashion this and special like that? And that takes a lot of guts.\u201d<\/p>\n He continued, \u201cIt takes a lot of self-control to present yourself a certain way, even if you\u2019re so nervous. I don\u2019t buy this \u2018she was nervous\u2019 stuff. She\u2019s a s\u2013tty dancer, and [her] personality is not really going to help her in this competition.\u201d<\/p>\n Anna has never been one to take criticism lightly, and the con-artist turned socialite was quick to respond to Maks\u2019 words. She shared a screenshot of the article from TMZ<\/em> with the headline about her \u201cs\u2013tty\u201d dance moves via Instagram Stories, and added her own clap back<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWho\u2019s this Maksim person? Is he poor?\u201d Anna wrote above the article on Monday, September 23.<\/p>\n
