The \u2018Maleficent\u2019 actress, 49, filed the suit under the pseudonym of \u2018Jane Doe\u2019 in April 2022, in which she cited the Freedom of Information Act to seek information held about the bureau\u2019s investigation into \u201can incident of domestic violence\u201d she said \u201coccurred several years ago involving plaintiff and her minor children as victims and witnesses\u201d.<\/p>\n
Page Six has now reported she filed a motion on 25 September to dismiss the case, with both parties liable for paying their legal fees over the filing.<\/p>\n
The FBI launched an investigation into 60-year-old \u2018Fight Club\u2019 actor Brad\u2019s alleged physical altercation involving Angelina and their children aboard a private jet in 2016.<\/p>\n
They kicked off the probe after an anonymous call was placed to the bureau. <\/p>\n
\nIts investigation closed on 22 November, 2016, with no charges being brought against Brad. <\/p>\n
\nMother-of-six Angelina filed for divorce from the star days later. <\/p>\n
\nShe had alleged Brad \u201cchoked\u201d one of their kids and \u201cstruck another in the face\u201d while the family was traveling from France to California on a private plane.<\/p>\n
\nThe actress also insisted the actor grabbed her \u201cby the head\u201d and \u201cshook\u201d her. <\/p>\n
\nHer documents claimed: \u201cAt one point, he poured beer on Jolie; at another, he poured beer and red wine on the children.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nBrad has strongly denied any claims of physical abuse and branded Angelina\u2019s claims against him \u201ccompletely untrue\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nThe pair are still locked in a bitter custody battle over the six kids they share, and a long-running and labyrinthine legal fight over Angelina\u2019s sale of her chunk of the winery they used to co-own in France.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
