The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em><\/a> star Jessi Ngatikaura<\/strong> thinks it\u2019s possible Zac Affleck<\/strong><\/a> could have lied to his wife, Jen Affleck<\/strong>, about his relationship with Ben Affleck.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

While discussing speculation that Jen, 25, and her husband are not related to Ben, 52, Jessi admitted, \u201cI don\u2019t know if this is true.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I will say that I could see a world where Zac told her that, and she believed it because why wouldn\u2019t you?\u201d Jessi, 32, said on the Friday, September 27, episode of Scheana Shay<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cScheananigans\u201d<\/a> podcast. \u201cI don\u2019t think Jen would lie about that. I really don\u2019t, but maybe he could. I mean, we\u2019ve seen a little bit of how he can be.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cBut also maybe Ben Affleck\u2019s team\u2019s like, \u2018We want nothing to do with you guys.\u2019 So let\u2019s dig and, like, plant this story because Zac is looking a little bad.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tDisney\/Fred Hayes Mormon \u201cMomtok\u201d has made its way from your phone to your TV with Hulu\u2019s upcoming series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. The mom influencers took over TikTok in 2022 with their unconventional lifestyles while also \u201cbreaking a norm\u201d associated with their religious practices and gender roles. The group subsequently faced scandal when [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

After casting was announced for The<\/em> Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em>, Jessi recalled Jen gaining attention because of her relation to Ben. (Jen explained in the show that Zac\u2019s dad, David Affleck<\/strong>, is second cousins with Ben.)<\/p>\n

The Hulu series also leaned into the connection, writing out Jen\u2019s last name during scenes \u2014 while other cast members, including Jessi, were only labeled by their first names.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn the show they were like, Jen Affleck, every scene,\u201d Jessi said. \u201cEveryone else was just like, \u2018Jessi, 31.\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018You could have left my age out, but cool.\u2019 It\u2019s just funny because like, I think they made the last name such a thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since the series dropped earlier this month, reports have surfaced that Jen and Zac are not related to Ben. Jen, who became connected to the A-lister after marrying Zac in 2019, revealed exclusively to Us Weekly<\/em> that they have never crossed paths<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tJen Affleck\u2019s first season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives wasn\u2019t exactly a walk in the park. Throughout the Hulu series, Jen faced serious questions \u2014 and concerns \u2014 from her costars about her relationship with husband Zac Affleck. A turning point came when Zac found out his wife was stopping by a Chippendales [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve never met him,\u201d she said earlier this month. \u201cZac\u2019s dad has, a long time ago.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite not meeting Ben yet, Jen expressed his desire to connect with him in the near future. \u201cHopefully we meet him sometime soon because we are family,\u201d Jen said, while costar Mikayla Matthews<\/strong> joked there will be \u201ca family rekindling coming.\u201d<\/p>\n
