Warning: This story contains spoilers from season 4 of Succession<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n The end of an era. Episode three of Succession<\/em><\/a> season 4 was titled \u201cConnor\u2019s Wedding\u201d \u2014 but the eldest Roy son\u2019s nuptials turned out to be an afterthought.<\/p>\n As Connor (Alan Ruck<\/strong><\/a>) was gearing up to marry Willa (Justine Lupe<\/strong>), the Roy siblings got the news that their father, Logan (Brian Cox<\/strong><\/a>), had collapsed on the plane during a flight to Sweden. The Waystar Royco mogul had ditched Connor\u2019s wedding in order to visit Lukas Matsson (Alexander Skarsg\u00e5rd<\/strong><\/a>), but his health took a turn as he was traveling.<\/p>\n Tom (Matthew Macfadyen<\/strong><\/a>), who was on the plane with Logan, called\u00a0Roman (Kieran Culkin<\/strong><\/a>) and informed him that his father\u2019s condition was quite bad. As a flight attendant performed chest compressions, Tom encouraged Roman and Kendall (Jeremy Strong<\/strong><\/a>) to speak to their father one last time via phone. By the time Shiv (Sarah Snook<\/strong><\/a>) got her chance, Logan had already passed. The rest of the episode followed the siblings as they tried to decide how to announce the news of their father\u2019s death.<\/p>\n While many Succession<\/em> fans suspected that Logan would die at some point during the drama\u2019s final season<\/a>, few predicted that his death would happen so soon. Now that he\u2019s gone, however, the rest of the season could focus on the Roy children \u2014 Kendall, Shiv, Roman and Connor \u2014 figuring out how to divvy up his assets.<\/p>\n Kendall, Shiv and Roman were previously united against their father, trying to take him out by outbidding him for PGM or starting their own media company. Without him as an antagonist, however, it seems likely that they could turn on each other in pursuit of power at their father\u2019s company, Waystar Royco.<\/p>\n While Logan\u2019s days on Succession<\/em> are seemingly over, Cox, 76, recently told Us Weekly<\/em> that he has no plans to stop working<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cYou sometimes get [from people], \u2018Well, I\u2019m gonna take the summer off.\u2019 And I\u2019m going, \u2018What the hell does that mean, taking this summer off? What do you mean you\u2019re gonna take the summer off?\u2019 \u2026 You\u2019re a long time dead. You don\u2019t need to take the summer off,\u2019\u201d the Emmy winner said in February. \u201cI don\u2019t understand the concept of not working. I\u2019ve done that all my life. I\u2019ve always worked. And it\u2019s something that I will continue to do until I drop. I work and I just enjoy the work. And I find it fun, I learn a lot. I always learn and you learn from people.\u201d<\/p>\n He also already has tons of plans in the works following his departure<\/a> from Succession<\/em>. \u201cI\u2019ve always been very Catholic in my view of the work, whatever comes along,\u201d he explained. \u201cAnd I\u2019m gonna be doing two plays this year and I\u2019m also hoping to direct my first film, which I\u2019m gonna be doing hopefully in May and June.
