The Foo Fighters have cancelled a show after Dave Grohl<\/a> recently revealed that he welcomed a baby outside of his marriage.<\/p>\n

The chart-topping band have taken to social media to announce that they will “no longer be appearing” at Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, Connecticut.<\/p>\n

In a statement posted on Instagram, the band said: “FOO FIGHTERS<\/a> WILL NO LONGER BE APPEARING AT THIS WEEKEND’S SOUNDSIDE MUSIC FESTIVAL. PLEASE CHECK THE FESTIVAL WEBSITE FOR MORE INFORMATION (sic)”<\/p>\n

The Foo Fighters<\/a> haven’t cited a specific reason for cancelling their planned appearance at the festival.<\/p>\n

However, earlier this month, Dave confirmed that he had fathered a child outside of his marriage.<\/p>\n

\nThe 55-year-old musician vowed to “regain” the trust of his family after sharing the news via social media.<\/p>\n

\nDave – who has been married to Jordyn Blum since 2003 – wrote on Instagram at the time: “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”<\/p>\n

\nThe Foo Fighters star has three daughters – Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, ten – with Jordyn, and Dave previously admitted that they’ve had a huge influence on him and his songwriting.<\/p>\n

\nDave – who was married to Jennifer Youngblood between 1994 and 1997 – told TIME magazine in 2012: “It’s changed everything that I do. When you have kids, you see life through different eyes.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
