\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Samuel L. Jackson<\/strong><\/a> addressed his work within the Marvel Cinematic Universe<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n The 75-year-old actor has been playing Nick Fury in the MCU since Iron Man <\/em>in 2008. He\u2019s gone on to appear in a dozen other projects in the franchise, including blockbuster movies and Disney+ series.<\/p>\n During a recent interview, he looked back on early conversations to join the popular superhero universe. He expressed initial hesitance over the length of his contract, adding that he was surprised by how quickly things progressed. <\/p>\n He also shared one thing that he has not yet gotten to do in the franchise that he really wanted to do. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI knew I had a nine-picture deal when Kevin <\/strong>[Feige, Marvel Studios president] said that. He was like, \u2018We wanna offer you a nine-picture deal.\u2019 I was like, \u2018How long I gotta stay alive to make nine movies?\u2019 Not the quickest process in the world, and people don\u2019t do it,\u201d he recalled during a feature for GQ. \u201cI didn\u2019t know they were gonna make nine movies in like two and a half years.\u201d<\/p>\n He continued, laughingly saying, \u201cIt just kind of crazy. It\u2019s like, \u2018Oh, s-it, I\u2019m using up my contracts.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Samuel<\/strong> added that it \u201cworked out.\u201d <\/p>\n One thing that he has not yet gotten to do in the franchise is visit Wakanda. After the release of Black Panther, he said that he, Don Cheadle<\/strong><\/a> and Anthony Mackie<\/strong><\/a> all wanted to visit the iconic world. <\/p>\n \u201cThey made it,\u201d he said, referencing Avengers: Infinity Wars<\/em>. \u201cThey got to go fight.
