Sister Wives<\/span><\/i> star <\/span>Janelle Brown <\/b><\/a>celebrated her first Easter since her December 2022 split from <\/span>Kody Brown <\/b><\/a>with her sons.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cMaking rolls for dinner. Boys are coming over later,\u201d Janelle, 53, shared via her Instagram<\/a> Stories on Sunday, April 9, alongside a plate full of freshly baked biscuits. \u201cWe are going to actually sit down at the table.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In an earlier post, the mom of six shared the recipe, which she noted was the \u201corigin recipe for Christine\u2019s famous rolls.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cMaking my mom\u2019s rolls today and feeling her close,\u201d the TLC personality wrote as she documented the process. \u201cI will keep these cards in her handwriting and maybe even pass them on.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The holiday family gathering looks different this year for the Browns after it was revealed Janelle and Kody<\/a> ended their marriage in December 2022 after nearly 30 years together.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cJanelle is a strong independent woman and realized she can do it on her own,\u201d a source exclusively told<\/span> In Touch <\/span><\/i><\/a>at the time, adding that the <\/span>Sister Wives<\/span><\/i> star \u201coutgrew him<\/a>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The cracks in Janelle and Kody\u2019s marriage were amplified amid the coronavirus pandemic after the polygamous patriarch set a list of strict rules for the family to abide by, causing major tension between Kody and their son\u2019s Garrison and Gabriel.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Apart from their two sons, Janelle and Kody have four other kids together \u2014 Logan, Maddie, Hunter, and Savanah. Prior to their split in February 2022, Janelle admitted Kody had a strained relationship with \u201c[several] of [his] children,\u201d during part 2 of the Sister Wives<\/em> tell-all.<\/span><\/p>\n Kody previously opened up about the tension with his two sons<\/a>, stating, \u201cI make rules, [they] abide by them.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI understand that these two needed their social lives,\u201d the businessman added. \u201cI totally get it. But in this case, COVID is different.
