I staved it off for years because I just exercised so much \u2013 I didn\u2019t even notice because I was running so much. So when I stopped I was like, \u2018Oh.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She added being pregnant in lockdown sent her \u201cnervous system into overdrive\u201d and became increasingly \u201cexcruciating\u201d as she couldn\u2019t perform live, which she says calms her anxiety.<\/p>\n<p>Ellie said about continuing to use different forms of exercise to battle her condition: \u201cI\u2019m just going to keep trying stuff.<\/p>\n<p>\nShe also said that since the pandemic she doesn\u2019t know of a \u201csingle person\u201d who doesn\u2019t have anxiety.<\/p>\n<p>\nEllie previously told Stellar Magazine her chronic anxiety is so severe she needs to \u201cnumb\u201d herself.<\/p>\n<p>\nShe said: \u201cI get such chronic anxiety that in the rare moments I don\u2019t have anxiety, I feel so happy and full of joy that I\u2019m not having it.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cIf I am in an anxious state, I don\u2019t feel things. I numb myself to everything.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cBut art can bring something positive out of you, especially if you rediscover an artist you love.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cRunning (for fitness) was such a good way to&#8230; honestly, I owe it to that to staying sort of relatively sane, I suppose.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\nEllie also told in January on social media: \u201cThis year has also been the hardest of my life.
