\nDe Niro warned: \u201cI see the things in Francis\u2019 film about that, the parallels and so on.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cTo me, it\u2019s not over \u2019till it\u2019s over and we have to go at this wholeheartedly to beat the Republicans \u2013 those Republicans, they\u2019re not real Republicans \u2013 and beat Trump.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt\u2019s that simple. We cannot have that type of person. Everybody has to get out there and vote.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe ‘Raging Bull’ star, who has previously said he wanted to punch Trump, 78, in the face, launched a blistering public attack on the former reality TV judge in a surprise speech outside the court where the former US president was standing trial in New York, before he clashed with a mob of Trump supporters.<\/p>\n
\nDe Niro, who took a leading role in a campaign to re-elect 81-year-old Democrat Joe Biden before he quit as president, said: \u201cWhen Trump ran in 2016, it was like a joke\u2026 the Twin Towers fell just over here, just over there. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cThis part of the city was like a ghost town, but we vowed we would not allow terrorists to change our way of life.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI love this city. I don\u2019t want to destroy it. Donald Trump wants to destroy not only the city, but the country, and eventually he can destroy the world.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI don\u2019t mean to scare you. No, no, wait \u2013 maybe I do mean to scare you.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIf Trump returns to the White House, you can kiss these freedoms goodbye that we all take for granted. And elections \u2013 forget about it. That\u2019s over, that\u2019s done. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cIf he gets in, I can tell you right now, he will never leave.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe actor added Trump was a \u201cclown\u201d and \u201ctyrant\u201d, before stating: \u201cWe have a second chance, and no one is laughing now. This is the time to stop him.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIf he gets in. I can tell you right now, he will never leave.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIs that the country we want to live in? Do we want him running this country and saying \u2018I\u2019m not leaving? I\u2019m dictator for life?’<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThe only way to preserve our freedoms and hold on to our humanity is to vote for Joe Biden for president.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
