\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Zac Efron<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about the stem cell treatment he recently went through to fix a back injury.<\/p>\n The 36-year-old actor took to his Instagram account to praise his doctor and discuss the six-month road to recovery he\u2019s been on.<\/p>\n The Mayo Clinic<\/a> says that \u201cstem cells are found in almost all tissues of the body. And they are needed for the maintenance of tissue as well as for repair after injury.\u201d<\/p>\n Zac<\/strong> wrote a long caption about the process and how it\u2019s helped him, but it all started with how he ended up in stem cell therapy. \u201cI fully commit to my roles, which I love, but it takes a toll,\u201d the actor explained after hurting his back on set of The Iron Claw<\/em>. <\/p>\n He went on to say that he\u2019d tried physical therapy, but he didn\u2019t notice many results. So, off he went to Eterna Health!<\/p>\n Even during Zac\u2019s<\/strong> preparation for The Iron Claw<\/em>, he knew that it would be challenging on him mentally and physically. \u201cThe physicality he brought to the ring every single day was really unique. It changed wrestling,\u201d the star explained to Us Weekly<\/a>. \u201cI knew that was going to be the hardest [thing] for me to master and get right. So, I put everything I had into it.\u201d<\/p>\n While it may have ended in injury, Zac<\/strong> still managed to give one of his best performances in his role as Kevin Von Erich. <\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
