Usher<\/strong><\/a> shut down rumors that he deleted his X account over the weekend \u2014 and gave a simple explanation for why his tweets briefly disappeared.<\/p>\n

\u201cAccount got hacked and damn y\u2019all ran with it! \ud83d\ude02\ud83d\ude02\ud83d\ude02,\u201d the singer, 45, tweeted on Sunday<\/a>, September 22. \u201cSee you tonight at Intuit Dome \u270c\ud83c\udffe\ud83d\udc40\u270c\ud83c\udffe.\u201d<\/p>\n

Usher\u2019s previous posts on the platform also reappeared at that time.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the weekend, all of Usher\u2019s X posts vanished, leading other social media users to believe that he\u2019d deleted his account. The apparent wiping of his page was so widely discussed that it became a trending topic, with many armchair theorists wondering what could have inspired Usher to seemingly delete his account.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tYears before two of Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs\u2019 homes were raided in connection to a federal sex trafficking investigation, there was conversation about what went on at the rapper\u2019s residences. After the March 2024 raid made headlines, a clip resurfaced of Usher recalling his experience living with Diddy as a teenager. \u201cI got a chance to [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Some of these users speculated that the timing was related to the recent arrest of Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs<\/strong><\/a>, who is a longtime collaborator of Usher\u2019s. Their work together dates back to Usher\u2019s 1994 debut album, which was executive produced by Diddy, 54.<\/p>\n

Diddy was arrested<\/a> last Monday, September 16, and denied bail<\/a>. One day later, he was charged with sex trafficking<\/a>, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty<\/a> to each count. If convicted, he could face a sentence of up to life in prison<\/a>. (Usher has yet to officially comment on Diddy\u2019s arrest.)<\/p>\n

Diddy\u2019s legal team filed an appeal for the music mogul to be released on bail, on the condition that he would remain at his home in Florida with 24\/7 monitoring by a private security force. A judge rejected that appeal on Wednesday, September 18, ordering Diddy to remain in jail<\/a> until his trial begins.<\/p>\n

Following his arrest, Diddy\u2019s lawyer Marc Agnifilo<\/strong> claimed his client is innocent<\/a> during an interview on CNN\u2019s The Source With Kaitlan Collins<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tCelebrities are weighing in following the recent arrest of Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs. The music mogul was taken into custody in New York on September 16. The following day, a 14-page indictment alleging that Diddy \u201cabused, threatened and coerced women and others around him\u201d was made public. The rapper has since entered a not guilty plea [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s innocent. I believe he\u2019s innocent. I believe he\u2019s innocent of the charges,\u201d Agnifilo said on Tuesday, September 17. \u201cHe is going to go to trial. And I believe he\u2019s going to win.\u201d<\/p>\n

Agnifilo went on to say that his \u201cdefense is very well-established,\u201d noting that he has interviewed \u201cdifferent men\u201d who were involved in Diddy\u2019s \u201cintimate situation.\u201d<\/p>\n
