Music legend Janet Jackson<\/a> recently shared her thoughts on Kamala Harris<\/a> in an interview with The Guardian<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jackson mentioned she’d heard people saying Harris \u201cis not Black.\u201d It’s a claim that echoes what former President Donald Trump<\/a><\/strong> had been saying, questioning Harris’s Black heritage.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe’s not Black. That’s what I heard \u2014 that she’s Indian,\u201d Jackson said in the interview. \u201cThat’s what I was told. I mean, I haven’t watched the news in a few days. I was told they discovered her father was white,\u201d she added. The interviewer quickly set the record straight, explaining Harris’s mixed heritage.<\/p>\n
