Prince William<\/strong><\/a> and Princess Kate<\/strong><\/a> celebrated Easter on Sunday, April 9, alongside all three of their children<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Prince of Wales, 40, and the Princess of Wales, 41, were pictured outside St George\u2019s Chapel in Windsor, England, on Sunday before the holiday service began<\/a>. The married couple, who wed in April 2011<\/a>, were joined by children Prince George<\/a>, 9, Princess Charlotte<\/a>, 7, and Prince Louis<\/a>, 4. The family of five coordinated in blue outfits, with Kate and Charlotte donning royal blue dresses and William and the boys opting for navy suits. Louis, whose Sunday outing was his first appearance at the annual service<\/a>, also wore a pair of pastel blue shorts as he held his mother\u2019s hand outside the chapel.<\/p>\n The Waleses were joined by other royal family members including King Charles III<\/strong><\/a>, Queen Consort Camilla<\/strong><\/a>, Princess Anne<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and Sir Timothy Laurence<\/strong><\/a>. The Duke of Cornwall\u2019s cousins Princess Eugenie<\/strong><\/a>, Princess Beatrice<\/strong><\/a>, Peter Phillips<\/strong><\/a> and Zara Tindall<\/strong> <\/a>were also photographed outside the church.<\/p>\n Sunday\u2019s holiday marks the royals\u2019 first Easter since the death<\/a> of Queen Elizabeth II<\/a>, who died in September 2022 at the age of 96<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWhile I will grieve her loss, I also feel incredibly grateful. I have had the benefit of the queen\u2019s wisdom and reassurance into my fifth decade,\u201d William, who was named the Prince of Wales and Duke of Cornwall<\/a> after 74-yearold father Charles assumed the British throne<\/a>, wrote in an Instagram statement shortly after his grandmother\u2019s death<\/a>. \u201cShe was by my side at my happiest moments and she was by my side<\/a> during the saddest days of my life. I knew this day would come, but it will be some time before the reality of life without Grannie will truly feel real.\u201d<\/p>\n Elizabeth is\u00a0survived by her four children<\/a> \u2014 Charles, Anne, 72, Prince Andrew<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Prince Edward<\/strong><\/a>, whom she shared with husband\u00a0Prince Philip<\/a>, who\u00a0died in April 2021\u00a0<\/a>\u2014 and\u00a0multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.<\/a> The royal family all came together to honor her legacy at a state funeral last fall<\/a>.<\/p>\n Charles, 74, ascended the throne<\/a> immediately following his late mother\u2019s passing and his official coronation is scheduled for Saturday, May 6<\/a>, in which George is set to be one of his Pages of Honour<\/a>. William and the Duchess of Cornwall are also expected to attend the ceremony, though it is not confirmed if Charlotte or Louis will join them.<\/p>\n The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been bringing their eldest children to several public engagements<\/a> in recent years, including last year\u2019s Easter service at St George\u2019s Chapel<\/a>.
