Maren Morris<\/strong> <\/a>tweaked the lyrics to her song \u201cRich,\u201d taking out a reference to Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs<\/strong><\/a> in light of his recent arrest.<\/p>\n

Morris, 34, performed at the Bourbon & Beyond music festival in Louisville, Kentucky, on Thursday, September 19, where she debuted the new rendition.<\/p>\n

Instead of singing, \u201cBoy, I\u2019d be rich, head to toe Prada \/ Benz in the driveway, yacht in the water \/ Vegas at the Mandarin, high roller gambling \/ Me and Diddy drippin\u2019 diamonds like Marilyn,\u201d Morris omitted the 54-year-old music mogul\u2019s name on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Morris reposted footage from the performance onto her Instagram Story on Saturday, September 21, captioning it, \u201cF\u2014 Diddy.\u201d (Morris\u2019 comment added four extra k\u2019s to the first word.)<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tCelebrities are weighing in following the recent arrest of Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs. The music mogul was taken into custody in New York on September 16. The following day, a 14-page indictment alleging that Diddy \u201cabused, threatened and coerced women and others around him\u201d was made public. The rapper has since entered a not guilty plea [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This was the first time that Morris changed the Diddy name-drop on her 2018 single, which was featured on her debut album, HERO.<\/i><\/p>\n

Following a lengthy career in music, Diddy was first accused of misconduct and sexual assault<\/a> in November 2023. The rapper publicly and fervently denied every claim.<\/p>\n

News broke on Monday, September 16, that Diddy had been arrested in New York<\/a> on charges pertaining to sex trafficking and racketeering. He pleaded not guilty but was denied bail. (Diddy was remanded to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York.)<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office,\u201d Diddy\u2019s attorney Marc Agnifilo<\/strong> told Us Weekly<\/i> in a statement. \u201cSean \u2018Diddy\u2019 Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children and working to uplift the Black community.\u201d<\/p>\n
