Back in the early-to-mid 2000s, Paris Hilton<\/strong> <\/a>and Lindsay Lohan\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> friendship-turned-feud was infamous.<\/p>\n

Now that they\u2019ve both grown up and put their long-running feud<\/a> behind them, could they be teaming up for a new project?<\/p>\n

In an interview with Vulture<\/i>,<\/a> published Friday, September 20 to promote her new album Infinite Icons<\/i>, Hilton was asked whether she\u2019d consider joining forces musically with her former foe.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m actually putting a remix album together right now. A remix with her would be so iconic. I love Lindsay,\u201d Hilton, 43, responded. \u201cHer album was sick.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hilton also complimented Lohan\u2019s 2004 hit release, adding, \u201cI love \u2018Rumors\u2019. That song is so good.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Lohan, 38, found success in both movies and music at the time, Hilton was in the spotlight thanks to her socialite status and for appearing on reality show The Simple Life<\/i> from 2003 to 2007 alongside Nicole Richie.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2006, Hilton turned her hand to music and released her debut self-titled album, which featured lead single, \u201cStars are Blind\u201d \u2013 an album she touched on in the interview with Vulture<\/i>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I was recording Paris<\/i>, I was in my party-girl era, but I was very timid in the studio,\u201d Hilton said before comparing the single to her newest release. \u201cWhen I listen to \u2018I\u2019m Free,\u2019 I can hear a woman who has discovered who she is. That\u2019s why I wanted to make songs that are empowering, because that\u2019s the direct effect they had on me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hilton and Lohan were initially friends and made headlines for their nights out with other It Girls of the era. However, their bond turned sour in 2006 when the Mean Girls<\/i> star was linked to Hilton\u2019s ex Stavros Niarchos.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The sticky situation caused a rift and shortly afterward, the feud escalated when Hilton was filmed laughing while Lohan\u2019s ex, Brandon Davis<\/strong>, publicly labeled Lohan a \u201cfirecrotch.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, that same year Lohan was busted on tape calling Hilton a \u201cc\u2014\u201d, intensifying the bad blood<\/a> between the pair.<\/p>\n

Years later, their feud still hadn\u2019t died down. In December 2017, Hilton recounted the night<\/a> in 2006 that she, Lohan and Britney Spears<\/strong> were photographed hanging out \u2014 dubbed \u2018The Holy Trinity\u2019 in headlines the next day.<\/p>\n
