Joan Vassos<\/strong><\/a> made another one of her dreams \u2014 and wishes \u2014 come true during her Broadway debut<\/a> this week.<\/p>\n

The Golden Bachelorette<\/a>, 61, surprised fans at New York City\u2019s New Amsterdam Theatre on Thursday, September 19, when she performed as part of the Aladdin<\/em> cast in a one-night only event. Joan played the matchmaking Fortune Teller in the show alongside Adi Roy<\/strong>\u2019s Aladdin and Sonya Balsara<\/strong>\u2019s Jasmine.<\/p>\n

Joan took fans behind-the-scenes of her Broadway journey in a YouTube video<\/a>, beginning with her arrival at the New York theater. \u201cTonight: Joan Vassos,\u201d the purple marque surrounded by gold flashing lights read.<\/p>\n

The reality star proceeded to meet the cast and crew and walk the stage before showtime. \u201cNow, I\u2019m a little nervous,\u201d she said in the clip after high fiving the play\u2019s two leads.<\/p>\n

Joan was all smiles as she got into costume in her dressing room and experienced the hair and makeup chair. She grinned from ear to ear while standing backstage before her entrance.<\/p>\n

\u201cI bet you want to know about love,\u201d Joan\u2019s Fortune Teller told Jasmine while holding a crystal ball in the show, before changing her fortune to be about money following Aladdin\u2019s request to pivot topics.<\/p>\n

During the curtain call, Joan was honored in a very special way by the Aladdin<\/em> cast. The Genie, played by Michael James Scott<\/strong>, asked Joan to \u201caccept these roses\u201d as he pulled a giant bouquet of red flowers from behind his back.<\/p>\n

Joan was in awe of the gesture, which is a nod to all the roses she will hand out to her suitors this season, and happily accepted. \u201cShe said yes!\u201d the Genie screamed, earning a loud applause from the crowd.<\/p>\n

\u201cCongratulations on your one night only, surprise Broadway debut, @joan_vassos! \ud83c\udf39\u2728,\u201d the troupe captioned a video of Joan\u2019s final bow via Instagram<\/a> on Thursday. \u201cMay your heart\u2019s wish come true in this season of @thegoldenbacheloretteabc! \ud83e\uddde\u200d\u2642\ufe0f\u2728 #bachelornation #thegoldenbachelorette.\u201d<\/p>\n

Joan\u2019s Broadway experience came one day after her season of The Golden Bachelorette<\/em> \u2014 which is also the inaugural season of the spinoff \u2014 aired on ABC. During the Wednesday, September 18, episode, Joan was introduced to 24 men<\/a>, including Bachelor<\/em>\u00a0season 28 winner Kelsey Anderson<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s father, Mark Anderson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Bachelor season 28 winner Kelsey Anderson\u2019s dad, Mark, is one of the 61-year-old lead\u2019s suitors, according to the cast announcement from ABC on Tuesday, August 13. (Kelsey\u2019s mom, Denise, died in [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a really long night, and you have to be on your game the whole night because every conversation is important, because at the end of the night, you have a rose ceremony,\u201d Joan exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> of the introductions. \u201cEvery single time that limo door opened, I was excited to see who was gonna get out. I was excited to see if they had something fun as their entrance or did they just have something really sincere to say.\u201d<\/p>\n

Some of the most memorable entrances included Dave<\/strong> bringing a horse, Captain Kim<\/strong> appearing in full uniform and Jack<\/strong> singing \u201cMy Way.\u201d Keith, however, received the first impression rose with the help of his station wagon.<\/p>\n
