Once upon a time, before he became Donald Trump<\/strong>\u2019s running mate, JD Vance<\/strong> told<\/a> his law school roommate he went \u201cback and forth between thinking Trump is a cynical asshole\u2026or that he\u2019s America\u2019s Hitler.\u201d Obviously, the Ohio senator has since disavowed every negative thing he previously said about Trump. But he clearly shouldn\u2019t have, particularly when it comes to the Hitler vibes, given all the wildly antisemitic remarks Trump has made on the campaign trail\u2014including the comment he made last night re: whose fault it will be if he loses in November. Spoiler alert: It\u2019s the Jews!<\/p>\n That\u2019s right: At a campaign event on Thursday that was\u2014wait for it\u2014about denouncing antisemitism,<\/em> the GOP nominee for president told<\/a> the audience: \u201cIf I don\u2019t win this election\u2026the Jewish people would have a lot to do with a loss.\u201d The ex-president baselessly claimed that Kamala Harris,<\/strong> who is married to a Jewish man, \u201chates Israel,\u201d\u00a0while he is \u201cthe best friend Jewish Americans have ever had in the White House.\u201d He suggested that American Jews should be more grateful to him, saying, \u201cWith all I have done for Israel, I received only 24% of the Jewish vote\u2026I really haven\u2019t been treated very well, but that\u2019s the story of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n This content can also be viewed on the site it originates<\/a> from.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n At another event the same day hosted by the Israeli American Council, Trump doubled down on blaming things on Jewish people, saying that if he loses the election to Harris, Israel will be destroyed and it\u2019ll be the fault of Jews for \u201cvoting for the enemy.\u201d<\/p>\n Blaming Jews for stuff was, of course, Adolf Hitler\u2019s MO. The Nazi leader blamed<\/a> German Jews for Germany\u2019s defeat in World War I, claiming the tiny minority had \u201cstabbed Germany in the back\u201d\u2014language that sounds not dissimilar to what Trump had to say yesterday, and not dissimilar to the things he\u2019s said and done re: Jews for years now. As a reminder, those words and actions include but are not limited to:<\/p>\n Meanwhile, during his blame-the-Jews tour on Thursday, Trump had nothing to say about Mark Robinson,<\/strong> the GOP candidate for governor in North Carolina whom the ex-president endorsed and who CNN reported yesterday once referred to himself as a \u201cblack NAZI<\/a>\u201d in comments online, among other things.
