There\u2019s no denying that many of your favorite celebrities have some seriously cute kids<\/a>! That said, plenty of stars chose not to have children, while others have expressed not wanting to start a family at all.<\/p>\n Take Jennifer Aniston<\/strong><\/a>, for example. The longtime actress, who rose to fame while playing Rachel Green<\/a> on the hit sitcom Friends<\/em><\/a>, has been married twice \u2014 first to Brad Pitt<\/strong><\/a> from 2000 to 2005 and later, to Justin Theroux<\/strong><\/a> from 2015 to 2017 \u2014 but never had children.<\/p>\n In July 2016, rumors began to circulate that Jennifer was pregnant. Instead of riding out the speculation, the Los Angeles native decided to take action. \u201cHere\u2019s where I come out on this topic: we are complete with or without a mate, with or without a child,\u201d Jennifer penned in a post for The Huffington Post<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWe get to decide for ourselves what is beautiful when it comes to our bodies. That decision is ours and ours alone. Let\u2019s make that decision for ourselves and for the young women in this world who look to us as examples,\u201d the Morning Show<\/em> star continued. \u201cLet\u2019s make that decision consciously, outside of the tabloid noise. We don\u2019t need to be married or mothers to be complete. We get to determine our own \u2018happily ever after\u2019 for ourselves.\u201d<\/p>\n Jennifer went on to say that she\u2019s \u201ctired\u201d of being a part of any pregnancy narrative. \u201cYes, I may become a mother someday, and since I\u2019m laying it all out there, if I ever do, I will be the first to let you know,\u201d the Golden Globe winner added. \u201cBut I\u2019m not in pursuit of motherhood because I feel incomplete in some way \u2026 I resent being made to feel \u2018less than\u2019 because my body is changing and\/or I had a burger for lunch and was photographed from a weird angle and therefore deemed one of two things: \u2018pregnant\u2019 or \u2018fat.\u2019 Not to mention the painful awkwardness that comes with being congratulated by friends, coworkers and strangers alike on one\u2019s fictional pregnancy (often a dozen times in a single day).\u201d<\/p>\n As of 2021, Jennifer doesn\u2019t have children \u2014 but she\u2019s ready to dive back into the dating pool<\/a>. \u201cNo one of importance has hit my radar yet,\u201d she said during a September episode of SiriusXM\u2019s \u201cLunch With Bruce<\/a>\u201d podcast.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cBut I think it\u2019s time. I think I\u2019m ready to share myself with another [person]. I didn\u2019t want to for a long time,\u201d Jennifer explained. \u201cI loved really being my own woman without being a part of a couple. I\u2019ve been a part of a couple since I was 20, so there was something really nice about taking the time.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
