The Bachelor<\/span><\/i><\/a> alum <\/span>Kaity Biggar<\/b><\/a> claimed that <\/span>Devin Strader<\/b><\/a> DMed her friend while<\/span> Jenn Tran<\/b><\/a>\u2019s season of <\/span>The Bachelorette<\/span><\/i><\/a> was airing.<\/p>\n \u201cOur friend got a DM from him. Not a good guy. [It happened] while [the show] was airing,\u201d Kaity, 29, said about Devin, 28, while appearing on the Thursday, September 19, episode of the \u201cMore Than With Jordan Canova\u201d podcast<\/a>. \u201cHowever, filming had been done so [I] don\u2019t know the timeline of things. But scummy.\u201d<\/p>\n While Kaity \u2013 who is engaged to The Bachelor<\/em> star Zach Shallcross<\/strong> \u2013 did not reveal the friend\u2019s identity, she confirmed that the person Devin DMed is not part of Bachelor Nation.<\/p>\n \u201cZach and I were out at a friend\u2019s birthday party and Tyler Cameron<\/strong> was there and the girl that we were with reposted \u2013 she was in the photo too, a group photo of all the people at the birthday party \u2013 she reposted it to her story and Devin saw this girl, me, Zach, Tyler Cameron, and I guess he commented and was like, \u2018Oh, hey, hanging out with the Bachelor people?\u2019\u201d Kaity alleged.<\/p>\n After noting that didn\u2019t know the exact \u201cverbatim\u201d Devin used in the messages, she claimed that \u201che started to unsend them.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s crazy, too, because Zach\u2019s friend from Houston actually knows the guy, or knows of him. Bad reputation,\u201d Kaity shared during the episode. \u201cAnd Zach was telling me that while her season was airing. I\u2019m like, \u2018OK, well he could\u2019ve been a bad egg, then, but maybe he\u2019s changed.\u2019 We\u2019re all hopeful for that. No. The guy texted Zach and was like, \u2018See man? I told ya. Not good.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n After Jenn, 26, and Devin got engaged during the season 21 finale, the former couple confirmed they split before the After the Final Rose special was filmed. Not only did Jenn accuse Devin of pulling back after their engagement, but she claimed he followed several women, including Maria Georgas<\/strong><\/a>, on social media shortly after they split.<\/p>\n Devin quickly faced backlash from fans, and he eventually broke his silence on his split from Jenn<\/span><\/a> in a 13-minute video posted via Instagram. After he insisted that he <\/span>wasn\u2019t \u201clying\u201d about his love<\/span><\/a> for Jenn, he said they broke up because he \u201cwasn\u2019t good enough\u201d for her.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s incredibly difficult to navigate those emotions post show. We both had missteps, we both had flaws, we both had mistakes along the way,\u201d he said in the clip. \u201cBut the love that Jenn and I had, and the love that especially I had for Jenn, is not something that I\u2019m attempting to lie about, it\u2019s not something I can fake.
