Summer House<\/span><\/i><\/a> fans watched <\/span>Amanda Batula<\/b><\/a> and husband <\/span>Kyle Cooke<\/b><\/a> get into a fight after she revealed interest in launching a swimwear line. More than one year after the fight was filmed, Amanda exclusively talks to<\/span> Life & Style<\/span><\/i> about her upcoming collaboration <\/span>South Moon Under<\/span><\/a> and reveals how Kyle is supporting her.<\/p>\n \u201cHe is extremely supportive,\u201d Amanda, 33, tells Life & Style<\/em> about Kyle\u2019s reaction to the line<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Bravo personality adds that Kyle, 42, \u201chears what he wants to hear\u201d when he\u2019s stressed, so he likely \u201cwasn\u2019t fully understanding<\/span><\/a>\u201d what she meant when she said she wanted to start her own swimwear line. During a season 8 episode, the pair got into an argument during a boozy boat day when Amanda expressed interest in branching out from <\/span>her job at his company, Loverboy<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWe had conversations after that \u2026 right after the summer, not even when I was thinking about really doing anything, and he completely got it,\u201d Amanda explains about the fight, which was filmed in summer 2023 and aired in May.<\/p>\n She adds that he has been helping her with the \u201cbusiness side of things\u201d and \u201cnegotiations.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHe is so willing to hop on the phone with me and take \u2026 the lead on a call, or whatever it is that I need from him. And then he just kind of stays out of it and lets me do my creative thing,\u201d she adds. \u201cAnd he\u2019s not really involved in that aspect.\u201d<\/p>\n While Amanda was vocal about wanting to start a swimwear line, the dream didn\u2019t become a reality for one year after she expressed interest in the idea. However, she tells Life & Style<\/em> Summer Moon Under is the perfect company to collaborate with. \u201cThey reached out, as well as a few other brands, and people [were] just showing interest. And we started a conversation,\u201d Amanda explains. \u201cJust hearing how much they believed in me and were excited about this \u2026 The team is just so amazing, and we all get along so well. It just was such an easy natural fit.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI knew I wouldn\u2019t be able to do it on my own. I\u2019m a creative person,\u201d she continues, adding that working with the brand has helped her with the business side. \u201cLogistics are not my thing.\u201d<\/p>\n Amanda also shares that her \u201cbiggest focus\u201d for the line \u2013 which will launch in 2025 \u2013 is \u201cthe fit, the adjustability, the support and the comfortability of the pieces.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI wanted to make sure that [we\u2019re] doing something that\u2019s like a little different, or taking some of my favorite things from swimsuits that I have and combining them into what I think is the perfect swim top for my bigger boobs so that I don\u2019t have to alter stuff and change them afterwards,\u201d the reality star shares.<\/p>\n While Amanda\u2019s main focus was making sure her swimsuits catered to larger breast sizes, she explains that the designs are \u201cfood focused\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI must have been hungry when I started thinking about what I wanted all this to look like,\u201d she jokingly says. \u201cA lot of it has to do with food.
