Salt Lake City is big enough for both the Real Housewives<\/em><\/a> and Mormon Wives<\/em>, according to Lisa Barlow<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s interesting, and I think culturally it makes sense,\u201d the RHOSLC<\/em> star shared her thoughts on Hulu\u2019s new reality show, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em><\/a>, during an interview on the Wednesday, September 18, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it makes Heather\u2019s journey make sense, too,\u201d Lisa added, referring to costar Heather Gay<\/strong><\/a>, who has been open about her complex relationship with the Mormon faith on RHOSLC<\/em> and wrote a memoir called Bad Mormon<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Lisa also revealed that she knows at least one member of the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em> cast: Demi Engemann<\/strong>\u2019s husband, Bret<\/strong>. Bret was previously married to Angie Harrington<\/strong><\/a>, who appeared on RHOSLC<\/em> as a \u201cfriend\u201d on seasons 2 and 3 and was at one point good friends with Barlow.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know Bret. Bret used to come to my house and sing to me before I was dating [her husband] John<\/strong>,\u201d Lisa said. \u201cWe were totally just good friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mormon Wives<\/em>\u2019 Demi told Decider<\/a> in an interview published on September 5 that the two reality show casts often cross paths in Salt Lake City.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe do cross paths and it\u2019s not surprising because Utah is very small and especially the influencer world and community here is very tight-knit,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

In fact, costar Layla Taylor<\/strong> is friends with former Housewife Monica Garcia<\/strong><\/a>, who appeared on RHOSLC<\/em> season 4. Layla said she turned to her pal for advice when she was cast on Hulu\u2019s new hit show.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know Monica. We are just kind of internet friends and we chat here and there,\u201d Layla told Decider. \u201cShe\u2019s given me advice on the reality TV show world and stuff like that. Sweet girl. I wish she was still on this season, to be honest. I think she had a really good aspect to last season.\u201d<\/p>\n
