In fact, she called it a \u201cwonderful album.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe can be very, very proud of, and I think everybody in Country music welcomed her and thought that, that was good,\u201d Dolly continued.<\/p>\n<p>Of the CMAs not nominating Beyonce\u2019s album, Dolly Parton opined: \u201cSo I don\u2019t think it was a matter of shutting out, like doing that on purpose. And Dolly Parton participated in both of their albums, adding that she\u2019s \u201copen to everything\u201d with their future work.<\/p>\n<p>Dolly Parton also affirmed Beyonce\u2019s Country credentials. \u201cShe\u2019s a country girl in Texas and Louisiana, so she grew up with that base.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Country legend emphasized: \u201cIt wasn\u2019t like she just appeared out of nowhere. Post Malone has loved country music his whole life, and then I got to do the duet with him on his album, and I think it\u2019s a fantastic album. However, it sounds like Dolly is singing Beyonce\u2019s praises \u2026 while also suggesting that the CMA Awards exclusion was nothing personal.<\/p>\n<p>To be blunt \u2026 Dolly Parton is giving people too much credit. That\u2019s not a surprise, because part of what makes her so universally beloved (except by <a href=\"https:\/\/savingcountrymusic.com\/the-federalist-finds-out-its-never-smart-to-come-for-dolly-parton\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">weirdos at <em>The Federalist<\/em><\/a>) is that she largely stays out of politics.<\/p>\n<p>For the most part, this is wonderful.
