Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs<\/strong><\/a> is undergoing \u201ctreatment and therapy\u201d amid his recent legal woes<\/a>, his attorney said during an arraignment hearing on Tuesday, September 17.<\/p>\n

During Tuesday\u2019s hearing in New York, Diddy\u2019s main attorney, Marc Agnifilo<\/strong>, noted that the rapper and business mogul is in \u201ctreatment and therapy for things that most respectfully he needs treatment and therapy for and he\u2019s getting that,\u201d per People<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Agnifilo did not make clear what Diddy is seeking treatment for, but added, \u201cMr. Combs is not a perfect person. There\u2019s been drug use, there\u2019s been toxic relationships \u2013 which I think were mutual in their toxicity as these things often are.\u201d<\/p>\n

The rapper\u2019s attorney said that Diddy getting help \u201cat the ripe age of 54\u201d should be commended, per People<\/em>\u2019s report.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tINF\/INSTAR Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs has been under investigation for at least a year after being accused of sexual assault by multiple people. The rapper and music mogul, 54, made headlines in November 2023 after his ex-girlfriend Cassie accused him of sexual abuse in a bombshell lawsuit. She accused Diddy of beating her, forcing her to [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Diddy was formally charged with sex trafficking<\/a>, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution on Tuesday and denied bail.<\/p>\n

During Tuesday\u2019s hearing, prosecutors argued that the Diddy should be held without bail pending the outcome of a trial. Prosecutors alleged that Diddy was a flight risk and his wealth could allow him to flee the country undetected.<\/p>\n

Agnifilo urged the judge to release him on a $50 million bond, which would be secured by property in Miami. Agnifilo also argued that Diddy had worked toward earning the trust of the court by returning to New York from Miami \u201cto turn himself in.\u201d<\/p>\n

During an appearance on CNN\u2019s The Source With Kaitlan Collins<\/em> on Tuesday night, Agnifilo reiterated that Diddy flew from Miami to New York on September 5 and was ready to hand himself into police when he realized he was going to be indicted.<\/p>\n

\u201cI called the prosecutors myself. I said, \u2018Mr. Combs is in New York. Do you want to know where he is? If you want to where he is, I\u2019ll tell you where he is, but he wants to surrender. He\u2019s here to surrender,\u2019\u201d said the rapper\u2019s attorney.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs was indicted on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering on Tuesday, September 17, one day after his arrest in New York. A 14-page indictment, unsealed on Tuesday, details a barrage of accusations against the rapper. Diddy \u201cabused, threatened and coerced women and others around him,\u201d the indictment states. Agnifilo alleged, \u201cThey didn\u2019t want him to surrender because if he surrenders, they don\u2019t get to tell the judge that he\u2019s a flight risk and he\u2019s a danger \u2026 who as a danger and a flight risk would fly to New York and surrender? So they didn\u2019t want him to surrender.\u201d<\/p>\n

Diddy is due in court again on Wednesday, September 18, and is expected to appeal the decision to deny bail.<\/p>\n
