Halle Berry<\/strong><\/a> shared a very revealing confession about her vagina while comparing it to a fruit.<\/p>\n The Union<\/em> actress, 58, discussed her experience going through menopause with host Gayle King<\/strong> during a Tuesday, September 17, appearance on CBS Mornings<\/em>.<\/p>\n The journalist, 69, told Halle, \u201cI love that you\u2019re talking about menopause because most people think menopause is dry vaginas, and you\u2019re all done.\u201d The Oscar winner responded, \u201cIt did mean that for a minute. Now I\u2019m juicy like the peach!\u201d as they both burst into laughter.<\/p>\n Halle revealed she learned she was in menopause \u2013 which happens when women stop having periods and suffer drops in the hormones estrogen and progesterone \u2013 in the \u201cmost horrific way.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI was diagnosed with herpes<\/a> instead of a menopausal symptom, you know, and that got me awakened to the idea that if I had this little information, I wonder what millions of other women don\u2019t have,\u201d the Moonfall<\/em> actress recalled.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd then it just started snowballing and I realized that only we, women, can destigmatize this by talking about it, making it okay, talking about it with our husbands, our partners, our sons, our coworkers,\u201d she added. \u201cWe have to give them permission to talk about it also.\u201d<\/p>\n This wasn\u2019t the first time Halle has been brutally open about how menopause affected her vagina.<\/p>\n During a women\u2019s wellness forum in New York City on February 2, Halle described how sex with boyfriend Van Hunt<\/strong> went through a major change. The pair has been dating since 2020.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve been through three divorces<\/a> and finally found the right one,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n
