May she rest in peace.<span class=\"image-caption-credit\"> (GoFundMe)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>According to the San Bernardino Coroner\u2019s Office, Gold\u2019s body was found under a bridge on the eastbound 210 Highway in Rancho Cucamonga.<\/p>\n<p>Hence why officials are confident that the teenager took her own life.<\/p>\n<p>Along with other members of the Los Osos High School dance team, Gold impressed judges a few weeks ago on America\u2019s Got Talent. <\/p>\n<p>After making it through auditions, the group earned a spot in to the program\u2019s quarterfinals before they were eliminated in August.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was absolutely brilliant,\u201d panelist Simon Cowell said of the performance at the time. \u201cWhat I loved about this was first of all the energy. I think what I just saw is everything a great school should be doing, which is encouraging talent and friendship.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-captioned=\"\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/C-og7SCvHby\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:540px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\"\/>\n<p>Added the picking judge:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt reminded me of seeing the High School Musical movie and thinking every kid should go to a school like that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/community-support-for-the-gold-familys-loss\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GoFundMe campaign<\/a> is underway in Gold\u2019s honor and has already raised nearly half of its $50,000 target, with the money donated meant to be sent to Emily\u2019s grieving family.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet it be known that she now rests easy although there were many that loved Emily Gold and even looked up to her,\u201d a friend wrote on Facebook of Gold.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe will be remembered none the less by her fellow Grizzlies and by those who loved her with all their heart and soul. Emily Gold, thank you for all that you have done in this world. You have done more than enough. Claws up to you Emily.
