Google appears to be working on a way to finally synchronize notifications across devices in its ecosystem, according to Android Authority<\/em><\/a>\u2019<\/em>s Mishaal Rahman, who discovered code references to a new \u201csync across devices\u201d option in the Android 15 beta.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The snippet is apparently located under the Notifications section of Settings, nestled between \u201csensitive notifications\u201d and a new \u201cnotification cooldown\u201d option he spotted last week<\/a>. There\u2019s no Android notification syncing feature at the moment, as Rahman notes. So if you dismiss a notification on your Android tablet, the same notification will still greet you over on your phone later. This would, I\u2019m sure, be a welcome change for most.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The sync code also lies under an Android-specific controller, implying that the feature would be a little treat for all of the Android ecosystem rather than for Pixel devices alone, writes Rahman. But there\u2019s apparently no accompanying description that would confirm that, so there\u2019s still a possibility that this could be a Pixel exclusive. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
