Modern Family<\/a>\u2019s<\/i> Julie Bowen<\/strong><\/a> is the first to admit she and former costar, Sofia Vergara<\/strong><\/a>, couldn\u2019t be more different \u2013 and their opposite personalities have led to some hilarious moments.<\/p>\n

The actress, 54, recalled that she once received a risqu\u00e9 gift from Vergara, 52, after the Griselda<\/i> star discovered Bowen\u2019s taste in undergarments.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are absolutely, completely different,\u201d Bowen told E! News <\/i><\/a>in an interview published Friday, September 13. \u201cI like to wear the baggiest, grossest underwear and show them to her, and she\u2019s like, \u2018Please, why are you wearing that?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Bowen continued, \u201cShe used to leave little thong underwear for me in my trailer, and I was like, \u2018What is this? What is this tiny scrap of fabric?\u2019 Because she wants me to be more of a woman.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tFrom the beginning, fans fell in love with the cast of Modern Family \u2014 but they sure have changed over the past 13 years. When the series debuted, many of the cast members were so young that they ultimately grew up on screen. \u201cThere\u2019s definitely one season for me when I hit puberty right when [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While their personalities may be worlds apart from one another, Bowen insisted that she and Vergara \u201cget along like a house on fire\u201d despite rumors of a feud that continue to plague the pair.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s confident, she\u2019s funny. I\u2019ll never understand why there\u2019s this scarcity mentality about women,\u201d Bowen told the outlet as she hit back at the ongoing feud speculation. \u201cIt\u2019s like, if two or more get together they must be either witches in a coven or they hate each other. Guess what? We\u2019re witches.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bowen previously hosed down speculation of any rivalry between the pair when she appeared on the \u201cI Choose Me\u201d podcast in August and criticized fake tabloid reports.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey were just determined to pit us against each other, like we hated each other. It\u2019s this scarcity mindset that there\u2019s only one woman who can be happy at a time,\u201d she said. \u201c<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cI love Sof\u00eda, and I love how different we are, and I love that she is funny and self-effacing and bawdy, and she loves life and she loves dancing and eating cake, and all of these things.\u201d<\/p>\n
