It\u2019s different. And it was almost like \u2014 I\u2019m busy with my life, he\u2019s busy with his life, and when we connect, we\u2019ll connect.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2021\/06\/kody-brown-misses-yet-another-tax-bill-continues-to-fall-into-fi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"429\">Kody continued<\/a> to hint in the interview that the fault of their falling out was shared blame. While he never takes full accountability for the fracture in their relationship \u2013 something fans online have called him out for \u2013 he admitted continuously that he took for granted how much time he\u2019d have with Garrison.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was kind of like, we\u2019ve got forever. It was more like it was a convenience of time that I felt like I had,\u201d he added. \u201cRetrospectively, there would\u2019ve been more of a regular catching up and touching base.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-kody-shares-his-regret-over-son-s-passing\">Kody Shares His \u201cRegret\u201d Over Son\u2019s Passing<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/03\/garrison-brown-cause-of-death-sister-wives\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"431\">Garrison\u2019s death has changed Kody<\/a> \u201cirrevocably,\u201d he says.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can\u2019t get back to where I was. I can\u2019t reconcile that he\u2019s not here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In looking back at the time he did spend with his son, Kody tried to remember the part about him that he\u2019ll miss the most.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was planning a future. He always wanted a story to tell, some adventure. He was always either cracking a joke or wanting to talk about an adventure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Now, there will be no more adventures for the sweet young man, beloved by his family and friends and fans alike.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Finally, Kody added that his \u201conly regret\u201d when he thinks back is that he wishes he\u2019d taken \u201cadvantage of the time\u201d he had with Garrison<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to go out to dinner again. I want to sit down. I want to have a beer. I want him to try and make me laugh because he was kind of that way. The only regret is just, gosh, I would just do that more often,\u201d he says.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe only regret is that you didn\u2019t do something.
