Kate Moss<\/strong>\u2019 half-sister, Lottie Moss<\/strong><\/a>, is speaking out against using Ozempic for weight loss after a harrowing experience with the medication.<\/p>\n

\u201cA few months ago, I was not feeling happy with my weight. I had a friend, and she could get it for me and it was kind of below board, I\u2019m not gonna lie,\u201d Lottie, 26, said during the Thursday, September 12, episode of her \u201cDream On\u201d podcast.<\/p>\n

She explained that although she got the Type 2 diabetes medication through a doctor, she didn\u2019t have an exam to determine whether she was a good candidate for Ozempic and what dosage she should take.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe amount that I was taking was actually meant for people who are 100 kilos [220 pounds] and over, and I\u2019m in the 50s [110-130 pounds] range,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tOzempic has become a hot topic when it comes to weight loss \u2014 with some stars confirming they have used the drug while others denied it. Chelsea Handler admitted during a January 2023 episode of the \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d podcast that she unknowingly took the Type 2 diabetes medication, which is traditionally used to improve [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Lottie went on to call taking Ozempic \u201cthe worst decision\u201d she\u2019s ever made and cautioned others against using the treatment to shed pounds unless medically necessary.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you\u2019re thinking about doing it, do not take it. It\u2019s so not worth it,\u201d the model said. \u201cI would rather die any day than take that again. It made me feel so nauseous. \u2026 I\u2019ve never felt so sick in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Lottie became unable to keep food or water down without vomiting, she realized she needed to go to the hospital. Once she was admitted to the emergency room, she \u201chad a seizure from how dehydrated I was.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lottie, who said she has never had a seizure before, called the experience \u201cthe scariest thing that\u2019s ever happened\u201d to her.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy face was clenching up. My whole body was tense,\u201d she recalled. \u201cYour hands clench up and you can\u2019t move them and it feels like you\u2019re gonna break your hand. It was honestly horrible.\u201d<\/p>\n

The U.K. native concluded her horror story by sharing her hope that she can \u201cbe a lesson to some people that it\u2019s so not worth it\u201d to use Ozempic if they don\u2019t need it.<\/p>\n

Lottie is not the first star to speak out against the adverse side effects of the drug. Jillian Michaels<\/strong> told People<\/em><\/a> in February 2023 that she\u2019s \u201ctaken at least eight family friends\u2019 parents\u201d off Ozempic.<\/p>\n
