Underneath the body is a steel frame, and it rolls on the same tires and wheels as the real thing so that it\u2019s strong enough to support a human driver. There\u2019s also an electric car battery inside, but the P1 is powered by a total of 768 Lego electric motors divided into eight motor packs to mimic the V8 engine in the original P1.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph mb-20 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1 selection:bg-franklin-20 dark:text-white dark:selection:bg-blurple [&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-franklin dark:[&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-blurple [&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-black dark:[&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-white\">All of those motors work together to propel the 2,690-pound Lego replica \u2014 which is about 385 pounds lighter than the real thing \u2014 to a top speed of around 40mph, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/autocar\/status\/1834187726045818940\" target=\"_blank\">according to <em>Autocar<\/em><\/a>. In 2018, the company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/tldr\/2018\/8\/30\/17799628\/lego-drivable-bugatti-chiron-1-million-pieces\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">created a full-scale replica of the Bugatti Chiro<\/a>n using over a million Lego Technic pieces.
