The Real Housewives of Orange County<\/em><\/a>\u2018s Tamra Judge<\/strong><\/a> is \u201cone hundred percent\u201d swearing off plastic surgery<\/a> after a difficult recovery following her brow lift and chemical peel<\/a>, she exclusively tells Life & Style<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cThis has been a wake-up call for me. I\u2019ve realized that while cosmetic enhancements can be great, they\u2019re not always worth the toll on your body,\u201d Tamra, 57, explains while partnering with IT Cosmetics for their \u201cKeep It Real\u201d campaign \u2014 which emphasizes the importance of keeping it real in a world of beauty dupes.<\/p>\n The Bravolebrity says she doesn\u2019t \u201cregret\u201d getting the procedures. \u201cI knew going in that recovery would be challenging, but I believe in the reasons I chose to do this. I\u2019m focused on the end goal, and I trust that the results will make it all worthwhile. It\u2019s tough now, but I\u2019m staying positive,\u201d Tamra states.<\/p>\n The reality star kept things honest with fans by documenting her cosmetic work<\/a> in a series of Instagram posts. Tamra got a brow lift as well as a carbon-dioxide laser treatment on her face, neck and chest and a blue chemical peel. Two days after the procedures, she appeared very puffy while her skin was beginning to crack and ooze in a September 1, Instagram video.<\/p>\n \u201cDay three and the swelling\u2019s making a statement. Progress isn\u2019t always pretty, but it\u2019s happening,\u201d Tamra wrote in the caption.<\/p>\n She explained in the video, \u201cThe swelling is from the CO2 laser. You can see it\u2019s all the way down my chest. But you can imagine what it feels like,\u201d while going on to add, \u201coverall, looking like it\u2019s supposed to look. Nice and crispy.\u201d Tamra said she hoped to \u201cturn a corner\u201d the following day, as she didn\u2019t know how things could \u201cget any worse,\u201d and felt like her skin was \u201cgoing to burst.\u201d<\/p>\n
