However, he vowed to show as much support for this new little girl as he does all of his other children.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her,\u201d he said in his announcement.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Dave is already a girl dad 3 times over. He shares three children with his wife Jordyn: Violet Maye, Harper Willow and Ophelia Saint, whom they welcomed in 2006, 2009 and 2014, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>So far, none of his girls, or his wife, have made a statement about his affair or the new baby. <\/p>\n<p>Dave has always been proud of his family, and has lamented in the past how he\u2019s missed his kids while on tour. <\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_7-0\">\u201cI used to tour nine months out of the year. Now I don\u2019t like being away from my kids for more than 12 days,\u201d he\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/content.time.com\/time\/subscriber\/article\/0,33009,1945348-1,00.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">told Time<\/a>\u00a0in 2009.<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_9-0\">\u201cIt\u2019s changed everything that I do. When you have kids, you see life through different eyes. You feel love more deeply and are maybe a little more compassionate. This marriage may go the same way as the first. <\/p>\n<p>In a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elle.com\/culture\/celebrities\/a9165\/victorias-secret-sexiest-women-dupe2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2007 interview with Elle<\/a>, Grohl shared that he stopped calling Blum after they went on a few first dates.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I first met my wife, we went out on a few dates and I decided that I wasn\u2019t ready for a serious relationship, so I just stopped calling,\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n<p>However, he had a change of heart as time passed by.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter three months, I had a revelation and called her back.
