Stepping away from MomTok wasn\u2019t a decision that The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em><\/a> star Whitney Leavitt<\/strong> took lightly.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think so many things had led up to it,\u201d Whitney, 31, told Us Weekly<\/em> exclusively ahead of the show\u2019s premiere. \u201cI don\u2019t think it was just one thing where I was like, \u2018I don\u2019t want to be a part of this anymore.\u2019 It was a decision that I didn\u2019t take lightly.\u201d<\/p>\n

By the season 1 finale of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em>, Whitney announced that she and her husband, Conner Leavitt<\/strong>, are expecting their third baby. The Hulu star also said that she was leaving the MomTok group, which includes costars Jennifer Affleck<\/strong>, Mikayla Matthews<\/strong>, Taylor Frankie Paul<\/strong>, Layla Taylor<\/strong>, Mayci Neeley<\/strong>, Demi Engemann<\/strong> and Jessi Ngatikaur<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Since announcing her departure from the group, Whitney admitted to Us<\/em> that she\u2019s \u201cdefinitely reconnected\u201d with a few of the women. \u201cSome of them I have not,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

At the time, Whitney hadn\u2019t seen the Hulu show, which premiered on Friday, September 6. Her decision to return for a possible second season is contingent on what she watches.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know [if I\u2019ll return],\u201d she shared. \u201cI want to see the show first and then we\u2019ll see.\u201d<\/p>\n

Whitney and Connor made waves during the first episode of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em> when they returned to Utah following a two-month stay in Hawaii. Initially, it was framed that Taylor\u2019s public admissions that some members of MomTok were soft-swinging had caused them to briefly relocate. Then, Whitney revealed Connor had a porn addiction and was on Tinder.<\/p>\n

As for where she and Taylor, 23, stand now? The two are in a good place.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI just saw her yesterday and we were talking about how we are closer now than we were before,\u201d she shared with Us<\/em> of their friendship. \u201cWhich is great.\u201d<\/p>\n

With all the ups and downs on the show, Whitney admitted that she had some trouble being on camera all the time. Sharing the \u201cvery vulnerable\u201d aspects of her life was the most difficult part, Whitney explained.<\/p>\n
