Lindsey Morgan<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about why she left Walker<\/em><\/strong><\/a> in Season 2.<\/p>\n The 34-year-old actress addressed departing the hit The CW<\/strong><\/a> series on the I\u2019ve Never Said This Before<\/a><\/em> podcast.<\/p>\n During the conversation, she spoke about her decision to depart the show in 2021, citing \u201cpersonal reasons\u201d at the time.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI had a spinal injury, which was affecting my nervous system and my brainstem,\u201d she said on the podcast, adding that it caused crippling anxiety and stress and made her unable to perform her job, via THR<\/a>.<\/p>\n She admitted that it was the hardest decision she had ever made because she had worked so hard to become a lead, and she was forced to give it up.<\/p>\n \u201cUp until this point, I had been manifesting. I really wanted to be a lead. I wanted to get a promotion in my career journey. When Walker<\/em> came, I was the lead female. That was my dream come true.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI was really blessed and lucky that I started working and didn\u2019t stop. But, looking back, I realized my mistake in the sense of, like an athlete, I was working, working, working out putting, outputting, outputting, outputting, but I wasn\u2019t recovering. All my dreams were coming true, and I was a mess. Me, personally, was not in a good place. My anxiety was through the roof,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n \u201cI feel like I did not do good work. And looking back on it now, it was because I was so stressed out in my body \u2014 mentally and physically. I was a mess. I couldn\u2019t figure out why. I have all of this responsibility on my shoulders, and I felt like I was failing everyone \u2014 and myself.\u201d <\/p>\n Doctors told her she could stay busy and stressed, working 16 hours a day for four to five days a week and use medication to cope, or she had to change her lifestyle.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m somebody that really pushes themselves and has really high standards, and I never want to let anyone around me down,\u201d she explained. <\/p>\n \u201cI felt a little bit like I let Jared [Padalecki]<\/strong><\/a> down, or let the show down, and that was the hardest part for me, because it still makes me emotional, which I know is silly, because I was doing what I needed to do to take care of myself, and that\u2019s more important.\u201d <\/p>\n Find out what Jared <\/strong>said about the show\u2019s cancellation.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
