Selma Blair<\/strong> <\/a>was instantly smitten when she first connected with Paris Hilton<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI actually met Paris in the very early days,\u201d Blair, 52, exclusively told Us Weekly <\/i>on Thursday, September 5, at the NYLON Nights: NYFW x Paris Hilton Infinite Icon<\/i> Album Release Party Presented By HEYDUDE.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had a boyfriend<\/a>, Jason Schwartzman<\/strong>, who was about Paris\u2019s age, and it was, like, after the original Vanity Fair<\/i> story with her [and Nicole Richie<\/strong>] and [then] I saw her [in person] and she was, like, all sexy.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Blair, the heiress, now 43, eventually made her way to the actress\u2019 perch in the room to talk with her.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s like, nice [and] sexy and I felt very much a part of the scene and I hadn\u2019t [been in,]\u201d Blair recalled. \u201cI wasn\u2019t really working yet.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hilton, as is her signature, referred to the Cruel Intentions <\/i>actress<\/a> as \u201csexy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI was, like, \u2018She thinks I\u2019m sexy [and] I\u2019m cool.\u2019 I didn\u2019t realize she says it to everyone,\u201d Blair gushed.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t until years later after that initial meeting that Blair and Hilton really bonded, however.<\/p>\n

\u201cI fell in love with her [when] we did a Marc Jacobs campaign<\/a>,\u201d Blair told Us<\/i>, referring to the 2023 photo shoot which the twosome completed with Ashanti<\/strong>, Ashlee Simpson<\/strong> and Jessica Stam<\/strong>. \u201cI\u2019d seen her documentary and it really was moving and I\u2019m so proud of her. She really opened up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Blair added, \u201cI saw how [much] she endured, and how she stayed true to herself and really was looking for the best through all of this that\u2019s been happening. She\u2019s on the other side, and I hope she just keeps growing with love and fun and music, and I\u2019m really so happy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hilton, who has now moved past her PTSD from the alleged abuse, is now busy promoting her new album Infinite Icon<\/i>, which dropped on Friday, September 6. <\/i>At Thursday\u2019s Hall Des Lumi\u00e8res bash in NYC, Hilton opened up to Us <\/i>about the significance of the record.<\/p>\n
