<\/p>\n Linkin Park is back \u2014 and there\u2019s a new lead singer in town.<\/p>\n The iconic rock band announced their return to music during a livestream via YouTube<\/a> on Thursday, September 5, seven years after the death of frontman<\/a> Chester Bennington<\/strong>. The group is back with two new members, a new album and a world tour.<\/p>\n Dead Sara singer Emily Armstrong<\/strong> has joined the group as co-lead vocalist, while Colin Brittain<\/strong> joins the band as drummer, replacing founding member Rob Bourdon<\/strong>. The musicians join original members Mike Shinoda<\/strong>, Brad Delson<\/strong>, Joe Hahn<\/strong> and Dave Farrell<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The band dropped its first new recording since Bennington\u2019s death, \u201cThe Emptiness Machine,\u201d on Friday, September 6. The track serves as the lead single from Linkin Park\u2019s upcoming seventh studio album, From Zero<\/em>, which will be released on November 15.<\/p>\n Ahead of the new album, the band is set to embark on their From Zero World Tour<\/em>, which begins Wednesday, September 11, at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. They will also perform in New York City, Hamburg, London, Seoul and Bogota, Colombia.<\/p>\n
