Hugh Jackman<\/strong><\/a> put a lot of work into his body transformation for Deadpool & Wolverine<\/em><\/a> and he has the receipts to prove it.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, September 4, Jackman shared<\/a> a shirtless mirror selfie via Instagram, along with an audio recording revealing how he defined his killer abs and generally toned physique to reprise the role of Wolverine.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve had a lot of people talk to me or ask me questions about how I got into shape and what I did, what I ate, how I trained,\u201d he explained in the post.<\/p>\n

Jackman noted that some people asked if the training was harder as a 55-year-old, to which he responded, \u201cHonestly, I just wanted to take a second to say, \u2018Yeah, I had to turn up, and I had to do those deadlifts, and I had to eat those meals.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tHugh Jackman got his start as a TV star and theater actor in Australia but eventually became a household name after landing the role of Wolverine. Jackman was born in Sydney in 1968 and had a passion for theater and the outdoors. Performing started out as a simple hobby \u2014 until he enrolled in theater [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

However, the Logan<\/em> star was quick to note he couldn\u2019t have trained for the role on his own. \u201cI had an incredible team that helped me,\u201d he said, revealing that as many as eight different people were responsible for his look. \u201cThere\u2019s not a hope in hell I would\u2019ve got there without them,\u201d he candidly explained.<\/p>\n

The X-Men<\/em> icon shouted out his trainer Beth Lewis<\/strong> for helping him get into better \u201cphysical health,\u201d too. Lewis trained Jackman not only for Deadpool & Wolverine<\/em><\/a> but also to perform in an arena tour and a stage musical.<\/p>\n

Between 2021 and 2023, Jackman returned to Broadway<\/a> in The Music Man<\/em>, which ran for a whopping 373 performances. It\u2019s safe to say the Australian actor is in incredible shape, but that doesn\u2019t mean he\u2019s been pushing himself too hard.<\/p>\n

Singing Lewis\u2019 praises, Jackman said in his post, \u201cShe never makes me overwork; she made me realize that I had been overworking in the past.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alongside his trainer, Jackman had a number of personal chefs<\/a> who made sure he ate healthy meals that would benefit his training, regardless of where he was in the world.<\/p>\n
