Vanna White<\/strong><\/a> has already settled into a routine with new Wheel of Fortune<\/em><\/a> host Ryan Seacrest<\/strong><\/a>, but she was initially worried about how they\u2019d mesh on the long-running game show.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had no idea what to expect when I\u2019m used to one person for so long,\u201d White, 67, said during a Sunday, September 1, interview on CBS Sunday Mornings<\/em><\/a>. \u201cI was very scared, but he\u2019s doing a great job.\u201d<\/p>\n

The TV icon went on to note that she and Seacrest, 49, met \u201cprobably 20 years\u201d ago, but they\u2019ve gotten closer since he was announced as Pat Sajak<\/strong>\u2019s replacement<\/a> last year.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the past couple of months, we\u2019ve done some traveling together for the show and we got to know each other a little better too, so I think our chemistry is good,\u201d White explained.<\/p>\n

Since its inception, the game show has featured contestants who solve word puzzles in order to win cash and other prizes. Pat Sajak has hosted the show since 1981, earning 19 Daytime Emmy nominations and [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Sajak, 77, announced his retirement<\/a> from Wheel of Fortune<\/em> in June 2023 after more than 40 years as host. \u201cWell, the time has come,\u201d he said in a statement at the time. \u201cI\u2019ve decided that our 41st season, which begins in September, will be my last. It\u2019s been a wonderful ride, and I\u2019ll have more to say in the coming months. Many thanks to you all.\u201d<\/p>\n

That same month, Sony Pictures Television, which produces the game show, announced that Seacrest would be taking the reins from Sajak in 2024.<\/p>\n
