\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Jax Taylor<\/strong><\/a> is speaking out for the first time since leaving a mental health treatment center.<\/p>\n Back in July, it was revealed that the 45-year-old reality star, best known for starring on Vanderpump Rules<\/strong><\/a><\/em> and The Valley<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, had checked into an in-patient treatment center<\/a> for mental health struggles. A few weeks ago, Jax<\/strong> left the center<\/a> and returned home to West Hollywood.<\/p>\n On Monday (September 2), Jax<\/strong> took to Instagram<\/a> to open up about his mental health and shared his two diagnoses.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u201cA little over a month ago, I checked into an intensive inpatient treatment facility scared of the unknown and what I would find out about myself,\u201d Jax<\/strong> wrote. \u201cAfter many years of knowing something was wrong but not knowing exactly what it was, I recently learned that I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and PTSD. It\u2019s been a lot to process and an emotional time for me, however I\u2019ve come home to my son with a new found sense of peace.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019d be lying if I said I wasn\u2019t scared for the future but my focus is just trying to be a better version of myself than I was yesterday. Mental health is a lifelong battle of not letting it control you but rather you learning to control it,\u201d Jax<\/strong> continued. \u201cThank you everyone who has reached out in support and who also shared their own personal struggles with me.
