Liam Gallagher<\/a> announced it was making a comeback with a string of 2025 stadium gigs.<\/p>\nThe percussionist has now told The Sun about his regret he had a bust-up with Noel, 57, before he was kicked out of the band in 1995 \u2013 leading to him being replaced by Alan \u2018Whitey\u2019 White.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cThere was tension in the band \u2013 not only with me. The band was a tough place to be sometimes. <\/p>\n
\u201cI remember (a) Paris gig \u2013 drinking was involved, I ended up arguing with someone in the room next door to Noel and the next day Noel said, in front of the sound crew and everyone, \u2018Don\u2019t ever keep me awake at night or I\u2019ll sack you\u2019.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI\u2019d had enough. I\u2019d had enough of the poking each other and this, that and the other, so I swept the kit out the way and went up to Noel \u2013 right up to his face \u2013 and said: \u2018Don\u2019t you ever talk to me like that\u2019.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt was probably the biggest mistake of life.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nTony was asked to leave Oasis, with his replacement Alan White, 52, continuing with the group until 2004. <\/p>\n
\nHe then filed a lawsuit against Oasis, alleging he was \u201cunlawfully expelled from the partnership\u201d and was owed royalties of \u00a318 million as part of his five-album deal with Creation, the label that signed the band.<\/p>\n
\nTony eventually accepted an out-of-court settlement of \u00a3600,000 in March 1999 as well as giving up all claims for future royalties.<\/p>\n
\nHe added he is convinced Noel and 51-year-old Liam\u2019s mother Peggy, 81, helped them reunite ahead of next year\u2019s tour.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cI\u2019ve always, always, always, always said it, that they would get back together.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt\u2019s not like they\u2019re two estranged friends, if you like, they\u2019re brothers. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cI reckon Peggy being the old Irish lady that she is, is banging their heads together.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHe added about his hope he will get a call to join the group on the road next year: \u201cI don\u2019t know if I\u2019m going to be asked, if there\u2019s a whole thing going on that I don\u2019t know about.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
