\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Emma Roberts<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about one of her past roles she would want to reprise as an adult.<\/p>\n The now 33-year-old actress made her acting debut at just nine years old in the movie Blow<\/em> and since then, has appeared in dozens of movies and TV shows. <\/p>\n During a recent interview, Emma <\/strong>revealed one childhood role that she would like to reprise to play an adult version of.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI always joke that I want to do grown-up Nancy Drew,\u201d she told Cosmopolitan<\/a><\/em>. \u201cWhere is she now? Like maybe she\u2019s a little bit fallen off the tracks and needs to be set back.\u201d<\/p>\n Emma<\/strong> starred in the 2007 Nancy Drew<\/em> movie, which she she started filming when she was 14 years old and finished when she was 15. She also opened up about auditioning for the film and learning you could adapt books into movies at a young age.<\/p>\n \u201cI loved the Nancy Drew books growing up. I remember buying \u2018Nancy Drew and the Secret of the Old Clock\u2019 at a flea market with my mom when I was a kid, and I had such a vision of Nancy Drew,\u201d Emma<\/strong> told Cosmo<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I auditioned for it, they were like, \u2018Look, you\u2019re probably not going to get the part, you\u2019re a little on the younger side, and da da da.\u2019 I remember going to the Gap and buying an Argyle sweater and a headband\u2014this whole outfit. I was like, \u2018This is who Nancy Drew is\u2014I know who she is,\u2019\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n \u201cI ended up getting the part, and it was definitely something that drove my literary sense in movies and TV shows that I would later do,\u201d Emma<\/strong> said. \u201cI remember being like, \u2018Wait, you can read a book and turn it into a movie\u2014how do you do that?\u2019 That was kind of a mind-blowing moment for me at 14 turning 15.\u201d<\/p>\n If you missed it, in that same interview Emma<\/strong> reacted to Britney Spears<\/strong><\/a>\u2018 former assistant naming her to play Britney<\/strong> in a biopic<\/a>.<\/p>\n Earlier this summer, Emma <\/strong>and her boyfriend got engaged<\/a>!<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
