Then, doctors misdiagnosed her with a sinus infection.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, she received a diagnosis and treatment. Doctors determined that she had a sinus infection.<\/p>\n<p>Before she headed off for a family vacation in Europe, she explained, doctors prescribed her antibiotics. Anyone can find themselves \u201cbriefly\u201d lost in thought only to find that it\u2019s 15 minutes later. But these are not ordinary moments \u2014 they were red flags for a health emergency.<\/p>\n<p>One of Vicki Gunvalson\u2019s clients warned her that she might be having a stroke. Strokes can manifest with various symptoms, and unintelligible speech is perhaps the most recognizable of them all.<\/p>\n<p>The hospital allegedly \u201cmisdiagnosed\u201d her with a sinus infection and sent her home.
