\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Lance Reddick<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s family is speaking out to dispute the cause of death<\/a> that has been reported in the media.<\/p>\n The beloved John Wick<\/em> and The Wire<\/em> actor passed away suddenly last month at the age of 60, just days before the premiere of his movie John Wick: Chapter 4<\/em>.<\/p>\n A copy of Lance<\/strong>\u2018s death certificate was made public on Thursday (April 6) and revealed his alleged cause of death. Now, his family is denying it\u2019s accurate.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The death certificate noted that Lance<\/strong> passed away from Ischemic Heart Disease as well as Atherosclerotic Coronary Artery Disease. The American Heart Association<\/a> notes that \u201cIschemia is a condition in which blood flow (and thus oxygen) is restricted or reduced in a part of the body. Cardiac ischemia is decreased blood flow and oxygen to the heart muscle.\u201d The disease is caused by \u201cnarrowed heart arteries.\u201d The association notes that \u201catherosclerotic cardiovascular disease involves plaque buildup in arterial walls.\u201d<\/p>\n A lawyer for the Reddick <\/strong>family is responding to the report.<\/p>\n \u201cI have represented Lance Reddick<\/strong> for many years and continue to represent his wife Stephanie<\/strong>. The coroner statement on the death certificate is not a result of an autopsy. No autopsy was performed on Lance<\/strong>. To my knowledge, no medical examination of Lance <\/strong>during his lifetime ever indicated such conditions,\u201d attorney James Hornstein<\/strong> said in a statement to People<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n The statement continued, \u201cLance <\/strong>was the most physically fit person I\u2019ve ever known. He exercised daily at his home gym, including extensive cardio work, and the availability of gym facilities was a contractual requirement for his work away from home. He ate as if a dietician was monitoring his every meal. The information appearing on the death certificate is wholly inconsistent with his lifestyle.
